Rambull's Bullmastiffs - Kennel Information

My name is Mary Heli, I live with my family near Trondheim, in a small village called Gjølme. The family includes: Sindre and our girls Kine and Marte, the dogs of course, 1 horse and even two guineapigs :)

I’ve been into dogs my whole life, but my love for Bullmastiffs began in the 80`s, and after a long wait, my first Bullmastiff became a reality. That time I was involved with Rottweilers, showed them but never bred. I also love Frenchies, and got my first in `88. We lost our last Frenchie at the age of 11, summer 2002.

My first Bullmastiff was a red bitch Nor Swe.CH Jumits Emma, she was bred in Norway out of a UK import, Tartuffe Castellen. She became my foundation bitch

I aim to breed Bullmastiffs of good temperament, health and type ref. FCI's standard. I have bred my bitches to top dogs in both Finland (Bullberry Bullmastiffs, Hanna Airasmaa) ,Sweden (Marco Polo Bullmastiffs, Leif Strömberg) Nina Paakkari - Bullbugbear Bullmastiffs in Finland, Woodbullfarm in Belgium and imported chilled semen from UK, (Kingsreach Bullmastiffs, Di Williamson) . I have also imported dogs from Denmark (Downland BM's by Henrik H. Eriksen) and England, (Murbisa BM's by John and Muriel Bisatt),. My goal is not to be the "biggest" producer, this far (2004) there has been only 9 litters under the Rambull prefix.

In `97 I imported a bitch from Downland Bullmastiffs in Denmark . Her father is from Ironside Bullmastiffs in USA, out of Shady Oak and Blackslate lines, and her mother is a UK import with Maxstoke, Thaurleone and Naukeen lines. She is a loveley fawn bitch .

In January 1999, I imported a red boy from Murbisa Bullmastiffs in UK. He is mainly out of Murbisa , Bunsoro and Kingsreach lines. Rosko as we call him, is a very heavy boned boy, with lots of qualities I hope to bring further to the next generations of Rambull Bullmastiffs.
- And he did, summer of 2001 he sired 4 litters, two of them here at Rambull's, and he has proven to be very fertile.... = 38 puppies (!), three of these puppies are owned by Rambull and we hope they will build new bricks in the Rambull family.
